Section of Middle Road Closed Nov. 5 & 6
A section of Middle Road will be closed to all traffic near Fort Stevens Elementary 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 and Wednesday, Nov. 6 to make a sewer connection to the new facilities and maintenance complex adjacent to the Elementary School. A temporary steel plate will be used in the evening of Nov. 5 to minimize traffic impacts for commuters heading home.
Travelers will be rerouted through Greenleaf Ave and Loop to either Cascadian Ave, or Sundance Ave. Residents in that area might notice a few more cars on the roadway during construction hours but impacts should be minimal, if at all noticeable.
If you do find yourself on the detour, please drive like you would in your own neighborhood. We appreciate your patience!
