The City of Yelm Police Department believes that the best way to fight crime and prevent it from occurring is to involve our citizens and business community. Officers of the department work diligently to establish communication and promote positive interaction with all members of the community. The department has also created a volunteer program consisting of members of the community giving their time to assist the department in a variety of ways.
