UTILITY BILLS
A combined water, sewer and stormwater statement is mailed to consumers on the last working day of each month. Landlord and property owners that are not currently receiving monthly utility bills are billed semiannually for stormwater. The statement includes a graph to allow usage comparison for your account, billing charges calculation information, emergency contact information and a comment section. Bills are due on the 15th of each month and may be mailed to Yelm City Hall in the envelope provided with your statement, brought into City Hall, or deposited in the drive-up payment box located in the Yelm Avenue City Hall parking lot.
A credit card payment option is available through “Official Payments Corporation” either on line at www.officialpayments.com or by calling 1-800-272-9829. The City of Yelm Jurisdiction Code is 5638. A fee is charged by “Official Payments Corporation” for this service.
DELINQUENCY NOTICES
On the 16th of each month, a delinquency notice is mailed to accounts with outstanding balances. Payment of outstanding amounts must be received at City Hall within six days to avoid service interruption and the addition of a $50.00 service reconnection fee.
