The Yelm City Council, by a 4-0 vote, upheld the Hearing Examiner's decision approving a site plan review for the construction of a Wal-Mart supercenter in Yelm. The City Council adopted Resolution 460 containing finds and conclusions in support of it's decision.

On November 1, 2005, the Yelm Hearing Hearing Examiner issued a decision in the matter of Wal-Marts application to construct a supercenter in Yelm and the Yelm Commerce Groups appeal of the Citys issuance of a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance.
